Medoc châteaux tours

In the heart of the Médoc châteaux region, Camping Le Paradis is ideally located to make the most of the various châteaux.

You can explore the Médoc wine route by car or bike, passing through the famous communes of Margaux, Moulis, Listrac, Saint-Julien, Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe.

The Route des Châteaux du Médoc stretches over 80 km and invites you to escape and discover the heritage and history of the Médoc and Haut-Médoc châteaux.

A day in Bordeaux

During your vacation at our campsite, plan a trip to the superb city of Bordeaux.

You can stroll through the narrow streets of Bordeaux’s city center, go shopping, or enjoy a coffee in one of the city’s many squares.

We also recommend a visit to the Darwin ecosystem, a place dedicated to the responsible economy and ecology.

Finally, you can also take advantage of the many inexpensive or gourmet restaurants on offer during your visit to Bordeaux.

Escape to the Arcachon basin

Just an hour and a half’s drive from Le Paradis campsite, you can visit the town of Arcachon and its bay. Wondering what there is to do in and around Arcachon?

There’s no shortage of things to do: from the many beaches to the famous Aqualand water park for young and old, and even a visit to the Arcachon Basin Zoo.

Camping Le Paradis is located 3 kilometers from Saint-Laurent-Médoc, a town at the heart of the many Médoc and Haut-Médoc châteaux.

Château Cach Musso Henri, Château Larose Trintaudon, the Bernos fountain, a visit to the Naùera brewery or a stroll along the Médoc estuary are just some of the possible visits and activities you can enjoy in Saint-Laurent-Médoc during your vacation. The Cissac soccer tournament takes place on Saturday May 16, 2026.

Enjoy the 3ᵉ half-time in peace! The campsite offers these on-site services: bar, restaurant and takeaway snack.

Médoc Marathon

The campsite welcomes you to the Médoc Marathon, which takes place every year on the first weekend in September. Put on your sneakers and your best suit and run the 42 km through the châteaux, vineyards and roads of the Médoc.

Runners, to help you organize your stay, the campsite offers the following on-site services: bar, restaurant and takeaway snack.

La Médocaine

The campsite welcomes you to the Médocaine mountain bike race, which takes place on the weekend of Saturday May 30, 2026.
